Nothing Like A Friend With The Right Tools and The Know How
Carly wanted to finish the deck in the back with lattice and I figured there was more important stuff to do. So with no trust that I would even try she calls Trent and gets him to tell her what she needs to buy and arranges a time for the Clow's and Brent to come over for lunch and supper and build it. I took off before anyone got here to a soccer game and when I got back most of the work was done. It turned out to be more of a difference then I thought but maybe that's because I was picturing what it would have looked like if I did it myself. Trent has a more intimate knowledge of proper angles where I would just say "Good Enough". He even compensated for the fact the deck sunk a bit at one end, so when I raise it a few inches everything will be level. I was also ready to chop down the shed and burn the wood, but with a few pieces of wood it started to show some promise. That's a whole other post. Anywa
y, a job well done and a fun day. The work is much appreciated. On another topic, I also had a job a while ago that I couldn't take because I couldn't figure out a certain sequence that was too be encoded on the mag stripe. Trent must have just finished watching The DaVinci Code because he cracked it so I got the job and it is ongoing and profitable. Both projects I am confident I could have done, Trent just did both in hours instead of me taking months. I'll work off his expertise and labour somehow.
